FLEMINGTON, NJ – Today is a new day at the Freshii restaurant here, which is now under new owners who have partnered with the YMCA.

Freshii’s grand re-opening is today, June 28. For the next four days, through July 1, Freshii will donate 50 percent of its sales to the Hunterdon County YMCA.

“We are proud to partner with the Hunterdon County YMCA and support them in our common goal of healthy communities,” said new owners Jesse Allen and Amanda Taibe.

“Eat. Energize.” That’s the Freshii mantra. Freshii is a health and wellness brand on a mission to help citizens of the world live better by making healthy eating convenient and affordable. With a diverse and completely customizable menu of breakfast, soups, salads, wraps, bowls, burritos, frozen yogurt, juices, smoothies, and coffee served in an eco-friendly environment, Freshii caters to every taste and dietary preference.

“We are grateful to Freshii for their generosity and look forward to working with them in the future,” said Bruce Black, Hunterdon County YMCA President/CEO. “We want to thank Justin Lax, one of our Hunterdon County YMCA Board Members, for coordinating this great collaboration.”

Freshii is located at 100 Reaville Ave. in the Shoppes at Flemington. It is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Freshii and the Y seem like a perfect combination. The Hunterdon County YMCA works to promote strong children and families, good health, and a solid community. Best known for health and fitness, the Y is also the largest provider of childcare in Hunterdon County, in addition to offering summer camp, preschool, family programs, swim lessons, activities for seniors, teen programs, volunteer opportunities and more.

The Y offers scholarships to ensure these opportunities are available to everyone. Last year, more than $464,000 in financial assistance was provided through the scholarship program.
