HILLSBOROUGH, NJ -Thousands of kids, parents and friends are expected to stream in to the 12th annual Rotary Club of Hillsborough fair beneath the brightly-lit midway arch Friday and Saturday nights.
Located adjacent to the Hillsborough Promenade, 315 Rt. 206, the Fair transforms the field into a classic carnival with over 20 amusement rides, games of chance, food vendors and local business displays.
Hours are 6-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
In addition to classic thrill rides, including the Himalayan, Bumper Cars, Ring of Fire, Super Shot, Sizzler, Zipper, Carousel and Kite Flyer, a spectacular firework display by Interstate Fireworks and sponsored by Petrock’s Bar & Grille, will light up Hillsborough skies on Friday evening, Aug.16, at 10 p.m. (rain date Saturday Aug. 17).
The final night of the five-day fair is Saturday which will be a pay-one-price ($30) wristband night.
All proceeds raised at the fair are returned to the community as contributions to local non-profits, charities, schools and service organizations.
