With the November General Elections just six weeks away, the Hunterdon County Republican Committee (HCRC) announced it is hosting its annual Campaign Rally and Family Picnic Sept. 29 at the Clinton’s Elk’s Lodge from 12:30 to 4 p.m.

The event is free of charge and will be co-hosted by the North Hunterdon Republican Club and the Hunterdon County Young Republicans. This year’s picnic will include bounce houses for children, food and drink, and music for all.

“2019 is important to maintain enthusiasm and energy,” Andrew Russano, HCRC Executive Director said. “We have Assembly candidates across three Districts, Sheriff Fred Brown and Freeholder John Lanza are both seeking re-election, and West Amwell Mayor Zach Rich is running for the open Board of Chosen Freeholders seat. We also have many important down-ballot races this November and are encouraged  by the amount of positive energy we are seeing every day."

HCRC is working closely with the County’s clubs this year in organizing community events, including meet-and-greets with candidates, a very successful bi-County Republican Family Fun Night at the Somerset Patriots baseball game, and door-to-door canvasing throughout the County.
