FLEMINGTON, NJ - Hunterdon Healthcare has received confirmation that a patient at Hunterdon Medical Center tested positive for coronavirus COVID-19, according to a release.
This is the first case for Hunterdon Healthcare, and for Hunterdon County, the release said.
The patient, the release said, is doing well and has been discharged for home isolation.
Hunterdon Healthcare is proactively prepared to manage the situation and has followed all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines for both the patient and staff. The hospital is prepared, the release said, to keep the community and employees safe throughout the public health crisis.
