CLINTON TWP., NJ - The Hunterdon County YMCA will host its 25th Anniversary Comedy Night at the Hunterdon Hills Playhouse in Hampton on Friday, Nov. 18. Ticket price is $90 and includes a cocktail hour (cash bar); dinner featuring beef tenderloin, salmon or vegetarian entrées; dessert; and three premier comedy acts.

All proceeds from the event benefit the YMCA financial assistance fund, a confidential program making YMCA programs and services available to all Hunterdon County community members regardless of an inability to pay.

The comedians for the Comedy Night include Moody McCarthy, who has been seen on NBC's Last Comic Standing, America’s Got Talent and Gotham Comedy Live; Erin Jackson, who was a semifinalist on the 2014 reboot of NBC’s Last Comic Standing; and headliner Steven Scott.

Steven Scott combines clever observations of his everyday life with his amazing vocal talents, which include an array of characters, voices and sounds ranging from celebrities to musical instruments. He has performed with some of the biggest names in show business, both on stage as well as on screen where he has made numerous television appearances on shows for NBC, CBS, FOX, VH1, MTV, Comedy Central and, most recently, Gotham Comedy Live on AXS TV.

“Y Comedy Night is a fun night out with friends to enjoy the acts of top-rate comedians," said Andy Cedarbaum, Y Comedy Night Event Chair. "But it is so much more than just a comedy show. It’s a wonderful way to give back to the community and support the Y’s financial assistance program which benefits over 1,500 local children and families right here in Hunterdon.”

For Comedy Night information or sponsorship opportunities, call Jenn Attridge at 908-483-4326 or email jattridge@hcymca.org. Tickets are available for purchase online by visiting the YMCA website or the Deer Path and Round Valley Branches of the YMCA.
