Living the Lower Carb Life: A Weight Control Program for Adults


RARITAN TWP., NJ - Hunterdon Healthcare’s Center for Nutrition and Diabetes Management will hold a weight management class called Living the Lower Carb Life: A Weight Control Program for Adults. This four-week program is designed to promote weight loss and improve health while limiting carbohydrates.

The program will be held Tuesdays, beginning tomorrow, Jan. 12 through Feb. 2 from 6 to 7 p.m. It will be held at the Center for Nutrition and Diabetes Management here located at the Wescott Medical Arts Center, 9100 Wescott Drive, Suite 102. 

Another session will be held on Mondays, beginning Feb. 8 through Feb. 29 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Hunterdon Health and Wellness Center in Clinton, located at 1738 Route 31 North, Clinton Township.

The early stages of this program will include a carbohydrate-restrictive meal plan.  Carbohydrates will be gradually increased over the course of four weeks. Topics included in this program will focus on lower carb meal planning, lower carb dining out and weight management strategies. 

The fee for the four-week session is $99. The cost for senior citizens age 65 and older or Center for Nutrition and Diabetes Management patients is $80. For more information or to register, call 908-237-6920.
