FLEMINGTON, NJ – Lone Eagle Brewing is joining a global effort to combat the economic impact of COVID-19 by brewing All Together IPA and donating profits from its sale to the Flemington Food Pantry.

State and local governments have ordered the closing of nonessential businesses to slow the spread of coronavirus. To help raise money for affected hospitality workers, Brooklyn, N.Y.-based Other Half Brewing Company, along with Stout Collective and Craftpeak, offered an open-source beer recipe, artwork and name to other breweries and encouraged them to join in the effort.

“From the moment we opened our doors in 2016, the local Flemington community has embraced us and allowed us to succeed beyond our wildest expectations,” said Todd Becker, co-owner of Lone Eagle. “We recognize that hundreds of families in our community are suffering from temporary job losses and struggling to put food on their tables. Raising money to support those affected is our way of demonstrating that we’re all in this together.”

The New England-style IPA will be canned on May 11 and sold in 4-packs at $14 each. For each 4-pack sold, $5 will be donated to the Flemington Food Pantry, which provides food and personal care items to needy Hunterdon County families. About 400 4-packs of All Together IPA will be available.

“The state-ordered shutdown has forced us to temporarily focus on packaged goods, and we’ve responded by canning more of our beer and offering it for curbside and delivery sales,” said Bob King, co-owner of Lone Eagle. “While this temporary setback means we cannot currently gather with customers in our taproom, we understand that Lone Eagle is nothing without the support of the local community. That’s why we feel it’s important to direct a portion of our time and resources to assist those in our community who truly need the help.”

Lone Eagle Brewing, 44 Stangl Road, is open Tuesday through Sunday. Until further notice, the tasting room is opened for packaged goods. Delivery is available. For more information, go to loneeaglebrewing.com.
