Marijuana, DUI, in Recent Township Arrests

RARITAN TWP., NJ – Police here released details of three recent arrests.

  • Petros Abajyan, 23, of Flemington, was arrested by Patrol Officer Dustin Pflug around 2:16 a.m. June 18. Police said Abajyan was stopped on Route 202-31 for driving 71 in a 55 mph zone. He was charged with driving under the influence, careless driving, and “disregard of a traffic control device.” He was released to a family member.
  • Sgt. Robert Landolina stopped a vehicle around 12:55 a.m. June 17 for failure to maintain lane, an obstructed view and a broken rear view mirror, police said, and ended up arresting driver Joslyna L. Fontes, 28, of Boston and passenger Davon A. Womble, 26, of Hialeah, Fla. The two were charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Fontes was issued motor vehicle summonses charging him with possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and failure to maintenance lamps. Both were released
