Marijuana, Hypodermic Needles in Recent Raritan Township Arrests

RARITAN TWP., NJ – Police here released details on several unrelated arrests.

  • Patrol Officer Adam Swiatek arrested Narces M. Clarkson, 25, of Norristown, Pa., and charged him with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a motor vehicle stop on Route 202-31 around 3:08 p.m. March 9. Clarkson was a passenger in a vehicle that police said they stopped for a seatbelt and view obstruction violation. He was released.
  • Michael J. Rankin, 20, and Drew E. Forrester, 22, both of Clayton, Del., were arrested by Patrol Officer Brett Szatkowski around 11:22 p.m. March 9 and charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a motor vehicle stop on Route 202-31. Rankin was initially stopped for speeding and failure to maintain lane control, police said. He was also issued motor vehicle summonses charging him with speeding and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. Both were released.
  • Sgt. Robert Landolina arrested Christen M. Franco, 28, of Martinsville, and charged her with possession of hypodermic syringes after a motor vehicle stop on Route 202-31 around 1:45 a.m. March 12. Police said Franco was initially stopped for speeding, having an obstructed view and failure to keep right. She was also issued a motor vehicle summons for having an obstructed view. Franco was released.
  • Guido Fromm, 24, of Flemington and Salma Abada, 19, of Old Bridge were arrested by Sgt. Robert Landolina around 8:12 p.m. March 12 and charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said Fromm and Abada were in Fromm’s parked vehicle at Minebrook Park which they stopped to check after noticing it in the park after hours. Fromm was also issued a motor vehicle summons for possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. Both were released.
