FRANKLIN TWP. (Hunterdon County), N.J. - Volunteers from the United Way, ExxonMobil, Johnson & Johnson, Voorhees Key Club, the Delbarton Soccer Team, Girl Scouts and the community gathered at America’s Grow-a-Row to participate in the Sept. 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance.

 

The group harvested farm fresh produce to be donated to hunger-relief agencies in New Jersey and beyond.

America’s Grow-a-Row, located in Pittstown, is a non-profit organization that grows and gleans fresh, healthy fruits and vegetables that are donated to those facing hunger throughout the state. America's Grow-a-Row, with the help of over 9,000 volunteers, donated more than 1.5 million pounds of farm fresh produce last year alone.
