FLEMINGTON, N.J. - Stangle Road here is closed to traffic today, as thousands are gathering for the annual Corn, Tomato and Beer Festival, organized by Flemington Community Partnership.
More than 100 vendors are part of the event that includes a food contest; local craft beer offerings; music; kids’ activities, including free train rides; a ninja obstacle course; a drone race demo, and the “big reveal” of 40 colorful Adirondack chairs built by Hunterdon Polytech students and painted by local artists. There are things to eat and drink for everyone.
The festival began at noon and continues until 8 today. CC Coletti takes to the stage at 5 p.m.; a full schedule of events is here.
Admission is free. Parking is free, too, with easy access from the Liberty Village parking lot off of Route 12.
