Police Seek Help in Finding Missing 17-Year-Old Girl

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP (Somerset County), NJ - Hunterdon officials have joined the voices of those seeking the public's help in locating a missing 17-year-old girl.

Franklin Township police are trying to find Briana Rice, 17, of Franklin Township. 

According to police, she left her home wearing a black t-shirt, gray sweatpants, and gray New Balance sneakers. Rice is described as a light-skinned black female, with black hair and black eyes, 5'2", approximately 130 pounds, according to officials.

Rice last made contact with her guardian on Sept. 3 and has friends in the New Brunswick and Asbury Park areas, according to officials. She is known to frequent both cities and utilizes NJ Transit to travel between the areas, according to police. 

Anyone with information about Briana's whereabouts is asked to contact Det. Mark Keller at 732-873-5533 ext. 3148 or the Franklin Township Communications Center at 732-873-2300.
