FLEMINGTON, NJ – A Raritan Township man has been indicted on drug charges, according to a press release from Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III.

Jorge L. Mercado, Sr., 31, was indicted along with Lundin D. Rivas, 26, of Trenton. They were each charged with one count of first-degree conspiracy to distribute a controlled dangerous substance (cocaine) and one count of second-degree distribution of a controlled dangerous substance (cocaine),

Both men were arrested in April as part of a multi-jurisdictional narcotics investigation by Kearns’ office, the FBI, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office, and police in Raritan Township and Lambertville, according to the press release.
