RARITAN TWP, NJ - Chris Phelan, Raritan’s Emergency Management Coordinator reported “good news” at the Raritan Township council meeting Monday.

First, he said, the feedback on the opening of the county and municipal parks was positive. Many people took advantage of the nice weather, but social-distancing was in practice and there were no incidents or issues reported.

Phelan added that in conjunction with the Hunterdon Medical Center, the respiratory assessment testing tent closed down on Friday. It had been running seven days a week for well over a month to assist HMC.
