RVCC to Offer Courses to Prepare for SAT and ACT Exams

BRANCHBURG - Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) will offer SAT and ACT preparation classes this winter and spring. Both courses will be held at the College’s Branchburg Campus.

The SAT course is geared toward 11th and 12th grade students who plan to take the SAT exam in March or May. The curriculum has been completely revised to reflect the test’s changes in subject matter and format.

In addition to a thorough subject matter review, the program exposes students to the pattern and challenges of questions. Students learn time-saving techniques, discover how to easily spot incorrect answers and build stamina, helping them to feel  more relaxed and in command on test day.

Homework is required. The course will be offered twice: Sundays, Jan. 24-Feb. 28, from 2-5 p.m., and also on Wednesdays, Jan. 20, Feb. 17 and 24, from 6:30-9:30 p.m.; and then again Sundays, March 6-May 1, from 2-5 p.m. The fee per course is $449. All materials are included in the fee.
