My name is Scott MacDade and I’m running for Raritan Township Committee on
November 5.
I am a native of Hunterdon County and my wife Lisa and I have called Raritan
Township home for over 30 years. Our two children, Lauren and Scott, both
attended and graduated from Flemington-Raritan schools.
For the past three decades I have worked for a local insurance agency in Raritan
Township. A large part of my job is to meet the insurance needs of residents and
businesses. In doing so I have had a ringside seat in listening to and learning about
the fiscal concerns of our community.
If elected, my priority on the Township Committee is to ensure that Raritan
Township’s quality of life and economic vitality are strong. By supporting
infrastructure improvements and increasing efficiency and eliminated waste, we
will ensure that Raritan’s services and its fiscal house is strong for future
generations.
I will take a balanced approach to open space needs and smart commercial
development. We will keep Raritan a place where businesses thrive and residents
can enjoy our beautiful parks and nature trails safely.
As we enter the home stretch of Election season, I hope that I can count on your
VOTE. I ask that you encourage your friends and family to get out and vote, too!
Best Regards,
Scott MacDade
