READINGTON, NJ - The Patriots’ Path Council of the Boy Scouts of America honored Somerset County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Officer Shannon Snook along with five other women at the 2018 Tribute to Women Award Luncheon at The Ryland Inn in Whitehouse Station on Friday, May 11.
Snook is a lifelong resident of Somerset County. Her volunteerism began with the Somerset County 4-H Program which she joined at the age of eight. She continues to give back to younger generations with community service, teaching character development, integrity, and value-based leadership skills.
The other women honored were Mary Courtemanche, Lesley Draper, Sally Epstein, Heather Hoffman and Faith Taylor.
The Tribute to Women Award Luncheon is an annual event in its 19th year. Proceeds support the Patriots’ Path Council’s Youth Protection program, which focuses on detecting and preventing child abuse.
