FLEMINGTON, N.J. – A woman who officials say used a Facebook ad to lure her victim has been indicted by a Hunterdon County Grand Jury.
Alexandria Peterson, 23, of Glen Gardner, was indicted today, according to a press release from Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III. She’s facing two, third-degree counts of theft and receiving stolen property.
According to Kearns, Peterson has a dog walking business “and often used a Facebook advertisement posted on Lebanon Township Community Forum to promote her service.”
She is alleged to have taken $44,600 worth of property from a Tewksbury homeowner while walking the homeowner’s pets, Kearns said in the press release.
Peterson will be scheduled for an arraignment.
