FLEMINGTON, NJ - Come out and dust off the old bike! The Western Jersey Wheelmen, Hunterdon's local bicycle club, is introducing a series of rides to those new to road riding.The Western Jersey Wheelmen is a year-round recreational bicycle club, sponsoring road and off road rides throughout the year and catering to all ability levels.

The group's next ride is Sunday, April 24. It will begin at 11 a.m., starting at Brunello Trattoria's at 300 Old Croton Rd. in Flemington.

This is a great beginning ride for novice cyclists as well as experienced riders. The route will be approximately 16 miles on a mostly flat course. Average speed will be between 10-12 mph. It is open to members as well as non-members. There will be two ride leaders and no one will be dropped. Helmets are required.

There will be a sign up/waiver sheet at the start of the ride. Riders younger than 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
