HUNTERDON COUNTY, NJ - A Whitehouse Station man was arrested on charges of child pornography, according to a release from Acting Hunterdon County Prosecutor Michael J. Williams.

Moiz Khan, 59, was charged with one count of first degree distribution of child pornography and one count of second degree possession of child pornography.

Williams said that a joint investigation by the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office's Special Victims Unit, ICAC Task Force and Readington Township Police Department led to the charges.

Khan, Williams said, was detained at the Warren County Jail, and has been released pending trial.

According to Williams, the charges stem from Khan's alleged sharing on a social networking site blog that was open to the public images showing children engaging in a sexual act. The site, Williams said, had over 4 million subscribers.

In addition, Williams said, Khan allegedly had items depicting the sexual exploitation or abuse of a child, specifically by having more than 1,000 images and more than 40 videos showing children engaging in prohibited sexual acts, as well as children displayed in sexually suggestive manners.
