The Hunterdon County YMCA Stingrays is a year-round competitive swim team offering high-quality, professional coaching and technique instruction for ages 6 to 18 years. The team competes in both YMCA and USA Swim meets. The goal is to provide every member of the team an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability from the novice swimmer and beyond, while instilling the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Team practices focus on all aspects of competitive swimming, including dry land training for the older groups.

All Y coaches, as members of the American Swimming Coaches Association, have access to the most comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United States. This provides assurance that the time children spend swimming will be quality time.
