FLEMINGTON, NJ — Borough Mayor candidate Betsy Driver and Borough Council candidates Chris Runion and Caitlin Giles-McCormick have joined their campaigns in advance of the Nov. 6, 2018 election.

Since winning her campaign to become a Borough Councilperson, Betsy Driver has already passed resolutions to get Council meetings streamed live and videotaped for later viewing; a tuition credit program for borough volunteer first responders; and passed a resolution recognizing June as Pride Month in Flemington - the first time it has ever been officially recognized here.

Chris Runion is a high school science and special education teacher with two master’s degrees. Chris has served as an AmeriCorps member training volunteers to build houses for Habitat for Humanity. This experience instilled in Chris his desire to help others and meet the needs of his community. Combined with his passion for providing students with the tools they need to succeed, Chris inspires them to also become active members of their communities. Education to him isn’t just knowing the right answers but asking the right questions. He believes it’s time to start asking the right questions in Flemington.
