Hold on to the Light

On June 1, Safe Harbor Child Access Centers and the Safe Harbor Teens are hosting an evening of mental health awareness called "Hold on to the Light." The event will be hosted at the Historic Dvoor Farm on Route 12 in Flemington from 5 to 9 p.m. Original and contemporary songs performed by students and local musicians, speakers, interactive activities, and information about mental health. The evening will conclude with a candlelight vigil.

Hunterdon Freeholder Should Step Down

To the editor,

I am confused. I will admit that at my age it is sometimes easy to confuse me.

We have a Hunterdon Freeholder who was found slumped over the wheel of his vehicle on the side of the road at 5:30 p.m. on the 5th of August but was not cited until September. Is that because he is a Freeholder and running for re-election?

I was told he had been at a golf outing during the day.
