Hunterdon Central Football First Responders and Service Members Appreciation Night

Former President Bush said it best, “Most people would do anything to protect their family, but it takes someone special to protect ones they don’t know.” That is why Casey Ransone, Head Football Coach at Hunterdon Central High School, along with the booster club, players, coaches, and district personnel invite military, police, firefighters, and EMTs to an appreciation event at the Sept. 28 home football game. The event starts with a complimentary tailgate dinner, with food donated by local restaurants and businesses, followed by a special appreciation ceremony at 6 p.m. and complimentary admission to the game for those in uniform. If you have questions, or to RSVP as an honored guest, please contact Anita Falvo at anitafalvo@aol.com

Raritan Township Committee Campaign Has Changed

October 18, 2018

To the editor:

If, like me, you have been following the election campaigning this year for Raritan Township Committee you have seen, in recent days, the complexion of campaigning has changed. For months the Democratic Candidates, Puzio and Winnick, have been making it a point to inform the voters of what they feel needs to be done in Raritan Township. They have offered insight into how they ...

Raritan Township Voters Need to be Aware

To the editor:

I feel the Raritan Township residents have a need to know. I, for one am tired of being led like a lemming to the cliff. Voters need to be aware of issues that affect them and need to be made aware of what politicians, those in office and running for office stand for. As voters we need to vote with our head not our heart and we need to be informed. We need to vote on what we ...

Raritan Township's Republican Candidates for Township Committee

To the editor:

The Republican candidates for Raritan Township Committee have launched their written campaign. Not by addressing any issues but by guilt by association. They say you should not vote for the Democratic candidates because of their association with Democratic state and national leaders. The issues of Raritan Township are matters onto their own and have nothing to do with state and ...

Appreciation to Sergeantsville Firefighters

To the editor:

An unexpected loss of life occurred this week during a meeting of the Delaware township seniors. My heart goes out to the family who lost their loved one. As I understand it, the Sergeantsville Fire Department and Delaware Township police department, in addition to several individuals who happened to be present, took quick action in trying to save this beloved community ...

As the Courthouse Square project nears the end of the local ...

October 15, 2018

September 21, 2018 marked Loew Orthodontics 14th annual Patient Appreciation Day at Deer Path Park. This year was especially exciting as it was Dr. Patel’s first PAD experience with us! Dr. Patel shared her creativity by painting beautiful henna tattoos. Our friend Bubbles the Clown returned this year to paint faces and create balloon animals for all the little ones.
