Learn to Sail with Hunterdon Sailing Club

The Hunterdon Sailing Club, which starts its 53rd year of sailing and instruction on Spruce Run Reservoir, will hold an information meeting at Riley & Jake’s restaurant on Route 31 south, Clinton on Sunday, Feb. 24 and repeated on Mar. 31.

HSC is about affordable small-boat sailing, including adult- and youth-learn-to-sail programs using club owned boats. The junior program is open to those who will have reached their 11th birthday by Dec. 31, 2019.

Doors open at 12:30 p.m. with networking and the option to order lunch off Riley & Jakes menu. At 1:30 p.m. there will be a presentation for prospective members, followed by a business meeting at 2:30 for current club members and any who choose to stay.

I am confused. I will admit that at my age it is sometimes easy to confuse me.

We have a Hunterdon Freeholder who was found slumped over the wheel of his vehicle on the side of the road at 5:30 p.m. on the 5th of August but was not cited until September. Is that because he is a Freeholder and running for re-election?
