CLINTON, NJ – Plans are underway for this year’s Haunted Red Mill. This year’s theme is “Creatures of The Night.”
A trip through the Haunted Mill will be a journey deep into a dark and smoke-filled maze, where you’ll come face-to-face with horrific creatures that only come out in the dark.
Venture through the maze, terror trail, haunted hayride, and vortex before facing the final scares. As always, you’ll encounter new surprises along the way.
Enter if you dare, but will you make it out with all your body parts still attached?
The Haunted Mill will open on Friday, Oct. 11 and continue on Friday and Saturday nights through Oct. 26.
Tickets can be purchased at the gate. The box office is open on the night of the performance from 5 to 10 p.m. and the attraction opens after dark at approximately 7:30 p.m. If you purchase a ticket by 10 p.m. and are online you are guaranteed passage into terror.
Back by popular demand is “Beyond the Fear,” a behind-the-curtain look at how this popular event comes together on Thursday night. It will be held Oct.17 and 24 and offers a backstage guided tour that shows how the various scares, frights and illusions are done.
For the fifth year, The Mill will also have its “Happy Haunt” for children and less adventurous adults. It is kid friendly, so the lights are on. It will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays only, Oct. 12, 19 and 26. The event includes a hayride, face painting, cider and snack.
The Mill is a non-profit organization. The Haunted Red Mill is its biggest fund-raising activity and is all volunteer; there are no paid actors.
The Red Mill is located at 56 Main Street in Clinton. For more information, visit the website.
