Northlandz, the world's largest model train museum, will be hosting a Music & Car Show Saturday, September 5th, from 3 pm to 7 pm.
Visitors will be able to view over 30 classic cars, relax and listen to great music by the Bass Boards, the Hunterdon Harmonizers’ Ovation Quartet, and a Beatles Tribute band.
Also available is a fun outdoor train ride, and some great food provided by food trucks from Good Humor and Taste of Poland. There will be a staging area outdoors by the train station with plenty of space for everyone to follow social distancing. Visitors are invited to bring lawn chairs.
Northlandz will offer its inside tour where more than 60 trains run at the same time: The inside tour is about a mile long, covers 3 levels, and has incredible landscapes with canyons, mountains, rivers, valleys with waterways, 100 bridges, and 400 tunnels. Also in the museum is an airport scene, the Christmas Village and doll museum.
Ron Van Horn, the organizer for the Flemington Car Shows, is in charge of taking the classic car registrations. Anyone who has a classic car to show may register by contacting Ron via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Tickets for the event may be purchased online at www.Northlandz.com. $10 entrance fee per person, outdoor train ride only $7, and inside tour at a reduced cost. For information call 908-782-4288. Northlandz is open Friday through Sunday 10 am-6 pm.
