FLEMINGTON, NJ – A job fair is being planned for Sept. 25 that will include some of Hunterdon’s largest employers.
The fair will be held at the County Complex on Route 12 in Raritan Township from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Businesses scheduled to participate include 3M, Animal Alliance of Lambertville, Appliance Master, Custom Alloy, Ditschman/Flemington Ford, Flemington Granite and Architecture/Creter Vault, Hitran, Hunterdon Developmental Center, Johanna Farms, Lowe’s, MW Industries/Atlantic Spring, QuVa Pharmaceutical, Readington Farms, Unicom Global, US Census 2020 and Wawa.
The event is being organized by several state and county entities and there is space for additional businesses to participate. There is no cost to participate; employers must be recruiting jobseekers for one or more direct-hire positions, which can be full- or part-time.
Employers interested in taking part in the job fair can email Jessica.Johannesen@dol.nj.gov by Aug. 16.
The event is being presented by the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board, which serves Hunterdon and Somerset counties, the state Department of Labor and Workforce Development, and the Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center.
More than 230 jobseekers and 22 employers participated in the Somerset County job fair held in June.
Prior to the event, a series of workshops for jobseekers will be conducted; attendance at these workshops will give participants early admission into the job fair, which will be open to the public at no charge. Look for details about these workshops at thegrwdb.org.
