FLEMINGTON, NJ - The New Jersey Hall of Fame (NJHOF) has formed a media partnership with TAPinto, a network of more than 70 franchised online local news sites throughout the state, including TAPinto Flemington-Raritan.
The NJHOF’s mission of celebrating New Jersey, inspiring generations of state residents, and instilling a sense of pride in their state closely follows TAPinto’s dedication to keeping people throughout the state abreast of important news.
The NJHOF will promote TAPinto in its public relations, mass electronic communications, newsletters, social media channels, and annual induction ceremony, while TAPinto will publicize the NJHOF’s events and materials on participating TAPinto sites, secure coverage of its events by reporters, donate advertising space from participating sites, and promote its content on TAPinto social media channels.
“TAPinto’s dedication to providing much-needed local news coverage to New Jerseyans fits perfectly with our mission to inform and inspire our state’s 8.9 million residents,” said Jon F. Hanson, chairman of the NJHOF.
“The New Jersey Hall of Fame recognizes those who have been influential in charting New Jersey's historic course,” says Mike Shapiro, CEO and Publisher of TAPinto. “As a media company founded and based in New Jersey, TAPinto is proud to partner with the New Jersey Hall of Fame to publicize these noteworthy individuals who have done so much to help the Garden State grow and flourish.”
New-Jersey based TAPinto is a network of more than 80 franchised online local news sites in NJ, NY, Pa, SC, and Fl., with more than 8.6 million unique users during the last year and more than 30 million page views.
In New Jersey, TAPinto has more than 70 franchised sites that serve residents of more than 100 municipalities. In June, the Flemington-Raritan TAPinto site alone recorded more than 100,000 page views.
On social media, TAPinto’s Facebook pages have more than 150,000 followers and more than 50,000 people follow TAPinto’s sites on Twitter.
The Foundation for New Jersey Hall of Fame is a non-profit organization honoring citizens who have made invaluable contributions to society, New Jersey and the world beyond. Since 2008, the NJHOF has hosted 10 ceremonies for more than 140 notable individuals and groups in recognition of their induction into the Hall of Fame. The NJHOF endeavors to present children with significant and impactful role models to show that they can, and should, strive for excellence.
