FLEMINGTON, NJ - A number of Fkemington residents were recently honored for scholarships and other achievements.

Two Flemington seniors at Hunterdon Central Regional High School were honored with presidential scholarships from Albright College.  The scholarships, in the amount of $15,000 per year, are awarded to students with outstanding academic records. Thomas Thatcher is interested in studying general biology, marine & aquatic science and environmental science. Nina Manzi is interested in studying elementary education and education in the 4+1 master’s degree program.

Flemington resident Tucker Richardson was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2019 semester at Colgate University. Richardson, a graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional School, is a member of the Colgate University Class of 2022.

Jaclyn Kephart, of Flemington, was initiated into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. She was initiated at The College of New Jersey.

Cole Grumbach, of Flemington, earned the fall 2019 Dean’s Award with Distinction at Colgate University. Grumbach, a graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School, is a member of the Colgate University Class of 2021.

Bryan Welsh, of Flemington, was initiated into the honor society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines, at Fort Hays State University.

Brielle Ann Morgan, of Flemington, graduated from the University of Mississippi. Morgan, a curriculum and instruction major, is a candidate for the Master of Education degree in the graduate school.

Alexandria Hentschel, of Flemington, graduated from Cedarville University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in international studies.

A couple Flemington residents  graduated from Kutztown University, and a formal on-campus commencement ceremony will be held at a later date. They were Briana Alejandrina Juergensen and Peyton A. Williams.

Several Flemington residents were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2019 semester at Montclair State University. They were Kelly Hughes, majoring in nutrition and food science; Ava Aulisi, majoring in family science and human development; Jack Mulvey, majoring in psychology; and Ally DeMarco, majoring in theatre studies.

Danielle Willey, of Flemington, was named to the dean's list for the spring 2020 semester at Bob Jones University. She is a freshman early childhood education major.

George Wisniewski, of Flemington, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice from The Citadel.
