FLEMINGTON, NJ - Flemington residents were honored with dean's list recognition and more throughout the spring semester of 2020.

Abigail Siniscalco, of Flemington, was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester at the University of Vermont. Siniscalco, a member of the class of 2022, is in the College of Arts and Sciences.

Alexa Sendro, of Flemington, graduated from the University of Findlay with a Bachelor of Science degree in equestrian sport coaching and management, and an Associate of Arts degree in equestrian studies. She graduated magna cum laude.

Morgan Jones, of Flemington, received the Game Art Award during a virtual Academic Awards Ceremony at Becker College. Jones is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in interactive media design, game arts concentration.

Megan Manalo, of Flemington, earned faculty honors for the spring 2020 semester at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Justin Goveas, of Flemington, was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Peyton Sarmir, of Flemington, was named to the president’s list and the dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester at Plymouth State University. Sarmir is a sports management major.

Brandon S. Nicol, of Flemington, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Scranton.

Matthew W. Vita, of Flemington, earned a Master of Science degree in educational administration from the University of Scranton.

Several Flemington residents were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester at Bucknell University. They were Isabella Carrega, class of 2022; Austin Fields, class of 2020; Angela Lai, class of 2022; Maddy Mallory, class of 2022; Christina Pierson, class of 2020; Sarah Shah, class of 2022; Meghan Shah, class of 2022; and Sarah Hazard, class of 2021.

A couple Flemington residents graduated from the University of the Sciences. They were Hannah Fisher, with a Bachelor of Science in pharmacology and toxicology; and Kara Kurzawa, who graduated cum laude with a Master of Occupational Therapy degree.

A couple Flemington residents graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology. They were Fan Lu, with a Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical engineering; and Justin Goveas, with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical and biomolecular engineering.

Several Flemington residents graduated from Clemson University. They were Juan Sebastian Fernandez earning a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering; Madison L. Riley earning a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing; Jessica A. Ruffa earning a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering; and Stephen Thomas Spiller earning a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering.

Several Flemington residents were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester at Kutztown University. They were Kaitlyn E. Carfagno, Noelle Cheh, Briana Alejandrina Juergensen, Katherine Elizabeth Majoney, Phoebe Quintero and Peyton A. Williams.

Several Flemington residents graduated from the University of Alabama this spring. They were Elizabeth Duplay, with a Bachelor of Science in commerce and business administration; Amanda Giliberti, with a Bachelor of Science in commerce and business administration; Kurstin Lyman, with a Bachelor of Science in human environmental sciences; and Katelyn Schnell, with a Bachelor of Science in commerce and business administration.

John Kalajian, of Flemington, was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester at Grove City College. He is a 2017 graduate of Plumstead Christian School, and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerard Kalajian. He is a biology major at the college.

A couple Flemington residents were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester at York College of Pennsylvania. They were Max Altshuler and Brenna Kahle.

D’Anna Rios, of Flemington, graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and an additional major in secondary education cognate.

Rebecca Carrara, of Flemington, graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a minor in statistics from Muhlenberg College.

Andrew Vollenberg, of Flemington, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics at Susquehanna University. Vollenberg graduated from Hunterdon Central Regional High School.

Danielle Cavallo, of Flemington, was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester at Susquehanna University. Cavallo is a finance major in the class of 2021, and is a graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School.

Emily Brandt, of Flemington, was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester at Moravian College.

Landon Schueller, of Flemington, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Iowa. He was a student in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, studying enterprise leadership.

A couple Flemington residents were initiated into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi this year. They were Allison Colon and Trevor Risavy, both at The College of New Jersey.

Several Flemington residents were named to the president’s list for the spring 2020 semester at Clemson University. They were Ryan Carlyle McCloskey, majoring in general engineering; Taylor D. Ogle, majoring in pre-business; Madison L. Riley, majoring in marketing; Jessica A. Ruffa, majoring in industrial engineering; Stephen Thomas Spiller, majoring in mechanical engineering; and Catherine Deanna Turtola, majoring in psychology.

Michael McKenzie, of Flemington, was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester at the University of Rhode Island.

Alexandria Hentschel, of Flemington, was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester at Cedarville University.

They were Cade Grimes, with a Bachelor of Science in business administration; Erika Hudkins, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in environmental studies; and Lena Verga, with a Bachelor of Science degree in communication management and design.

Several Flemington residents were named to the dean's list for the spring 2020 semester at Ithaca College. They were Kevin Barbella, a cinema & photographer; English major; Cade Grimes, a business administration major; and Rachel Richards, a television-radio major.

Alexa Sendro, of Flemington, participated in the University of Findlay’s annual Symposium for Scholarship and Creativity. She presented “An Equestrian Coaching and Teaching Internship Experience: The ‘Elevator’ Analogy.”

Jessica Taylor, of Flemington, was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester at the University of New Hampshire. She earned highest honors for the semester, and is majoring in social work.

Cole Fratesi, of Flemington, graduated from Centenary University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice.

Several Flemington residents were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester at the University of Scranton. They were Olivia R. Burd, a freshman counseling and human services major in the University’s Panuska College of Professional Studies; Anne K. Murphy, a freshman counseling and human services major in the University’s Panuska College of Professional Studies; Andrew J. Bradley, a sophomore exercise science major in the University’s Panuska College of Professional Studies; and Brandon S. Nicol, a senior accounting major in the University’s Kania School of Management.

Jessica Amy Ruffa, of Flemington, is a newly appointed second lieutenant through Clemson University’s Army and Air Force ROTC. She also took part in a Silver Dollar Salute ceremony in a small video teleconference with family and friends, marking the first salute received by an officer from an enlisted members.

Joseph Lostumbo, of Flemington, has earned dean’s list honors for the spring 2020 semester at Mount St. Mary’s University.
