FLEMINGTON, NJ - Hunterdon Central Regional School District released its annual report about suspensions and cases of harassment, intimidation and bullying, and incidents are down for the majority of this year versus last.
From September 2019 through March 2020, the district reported a total of 53 suspensions, as opposed to 69 from September 2018 through March 2019.
According to this year’s report, in terms of student suspensions, there were 11 reported in October and 10 reported in January, but fewer than 10 in all other months.
According to the district report, of the total suspensions, nine students had had prior suspensions.
In terms of HIB reports, there were three total identified as HIB over the reporting period, with eight total incidents reported.
In the last year of reporting, there were nine incidents identified as HIB and 19 total incidents reported.
This report is required by the state each year.
