WHITEHOUSE STATION, NJ - Summer will be winding down soon, and will slowly fade into autumn.

In turn, autumn will fade into winter. The seasons continually change here in Hunterdon County, but the need for support for Anderson House, located in the Whitehouse Station section of Readington, never fades.

Anderson House, a Turning Point Program, is a nonprofit halfway house for women recovering from the ravages of addiction. Since opening its doors more than 24 years ago, Anderson House has delivered compassionate care, guidance, and support to many women, helping them to recover and rebuild new healthy lives and relationships.

On Thursday, Sept. 26, from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m., guests will gather at the Ridge at Back Brook on Wertsville Road in Ringoes to celebrate and support these courageous women.

On this special evening, of Hometown Support for a Hometown Need, we will hear a most inspiring personal account from an Anderson House graduate on her transformative journey from addiction to sobriety. In some way, the pervasive, societal issues of drug and alcohol addiction have touched most all of our lives.

Anderson House staff hopes you will consider joining them for this unforgettable event. The panoramic vistas of the surrounding Hunterdon County countryside will provide the stunning backdrop for the evening, while inside the Adirondack-style clubhouse you will find a casually elegant ambiance.

Passed hors d’oeuvres will be served, followed by a delicious dinner, all while the Riverside Jazz Trio treats us to wonderful sounds.

Other exciting features will be a wine pull, a silent auction and basket raffles. Business casual
attire is requested.

Anderson House is actively seeking sponsors and donors for the silent auction to raise funds to support the women it serves. Sponsorships begin at $200.

To learn about sponsorship opportunities, what your gift provides to Anderson House and the benefits you will receive, visit http://www.turningpointnj.org/AndersonDinner. Tickets are available for $150 per guest. Reservations can also be made online. Please call Stacy Greene, Director of Development & Public Affairs at 973-239-9400 ext. 167 with any questions.

All proceeds for this event will benefit Anderson House programs.

Anderson House extends special thanks to its many local past community supporters. They hope you will consider joining them and/or supporting them once again for what promises to be a truly special evening.

The event committee has been working very hard, but they need you to help us make this evening a success; the need has never been greater.
