FLEMINGTON, NJ – Officials here will unveil at a special meeting next week a concept plan to redevelop the former Global Ag property.
According to a press release from the borough, the property is controlled by Captiva Development. The developer “wants to present its plans to the public before any agreements are signed,” it states.
The developer plans two buildings for the site, consisting of one- and two-bedroom apartments with a 60/40 ratio between the two. Each building would include 50 units, for a total of 100 units for the project.
Captiva will present its plans at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 9 in the old Historic Courthouse on Main Street. It will be a joint meeting of the Borough Council, Planning Board and Historic Preservation Commission.
“The public is welcome and encouraged to attend,” the press release states.
Officials do not expect to take any action at the meeting.
