FLEMINGTON, NJ – Jack Cust, whose Flemington Urban Renewal LLC is the designated redeveloper of the Union Hotel, revealed revised plans for the project at last night’s Borough Council meeting.

In addition to releasing the plans, Cust said he will soon open office space on Main Street. He invited “all residents and business owners” to visit and “view the history of this project and all related materials.”

Cust also promised accessibility, and said he’ll be “available to meet anyone and discuss as needed.”

Cust is hoping his revised, downsized plans will meet the approval of the Friends of Historic Flemington. The stalled project is a consequence of the lawsuits the Friends have filed against the borough regarding the project.

A report detailing the revisions – and the public’s reactions – is here.
