FLEMINGTON, NJ - Flemington Borough has declared a local state of emergency because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The state of emergency went into effect as of 6 p.m. Monday.

According to a post on Facebook from the borough's office of emergency management, by entering into the state of emergency, it allows the borough to use additional resources if necessary in the response to the virus.

According to the post, there are no additional restrictions placed on the borough from the ones already outlined by Mayor Betsy Driver, and put into place by Gov. Phil Murphy.
