FLEMINGTON, NJ – Borough Council introduced its 2019 salary ordinance at its regular meeting last week.
There are no raises for Council itself. The Mayor’s salary would remain at $6,120 a year and Council members will be paid $4,935. Most non-union Borough workers are slated for a 2 percent pay increase.
Chief of Police Jerry Rotella would remain the highest paid Borough staffer at a salary of $145,210 per year.
Department of Public Works Director Michael Campion is next in line and would be paid $101,618 under the plan; followed by Director of Flemington Free Public Library Shawn Armington, who would be paid $67,034; Municipal Court Administrator Susan Fleming at $57,222; Construction Official Jeff Klein at $56,400; and Borough Clerk Sallie Graziano, at $55,058 per year.
The new salaries would be retroactive to Jan. 1 and will be subject to a public hearing at the next Council meeting, to be held at 7:30 p.m. June 10 in Borough Hall.
