Hunterdon Spends $1.4 Million to Preserve Open Space

FLEMINGTON, NJ –  Hunterdon Freeholders have approved spending more than $1.402 million to help preserve more than 230 acres of open space in four Hunterdon municipalities.

Hunterdon Files in Federal Court Against PennEast Pipeline

FLEMINGTON, NJ - Hunterdon County has filed in Federal Court to oppose the PennEast pipeline.

The proposed $1 billion PennEast pipeline would be a 120-mile, primarily 36-inch, underground pipeline. It would originate in northeastern Pennsylvania and end at Transco’s pipeline interconnection near Pennington. About a third of the pipeline would be in New Jersey.
