FLEMINGTON, NJ – This year’s Hunterdon County Bike to Work Week will be held from May 13-17.
This free annual event provides local commuters with a fun and engaging opportunity to leave their cars behind and consider bicycling to work instead. It’s sponsored by goHunterdon, the local non-profit organization dedicated to promoting sustainable transportation, and it’s now accepting registrations.
Hunterdon County Bike to Work Week is part of National Bike Month and is celebrated in communities from coast to coast.
Participation in Hunterdon County Bike to Work Week is open to everyone 18 years or older who lives or works in Hunterdon. Participants may ride as many days as they choose throughout the week.
At the end of the week, cyclists will be asked to record their bicycle commute rides. Each recorded ride will serve as an entry into a prize drawing held the following week at the post event get-together.
Registration for the event is available online.
