CLINTON TWP., NJ - Paul Sauerland and Dick Mannon will be honored with a special sign and dedication at the Round Valley Youth Center on Sunday.
Sauerland is a former county freeholder, board member of the state Museum of Agriculture and has served on many local boards.
Mannon is a graduate of the little Oak Grove School. Before retiring, he owned Flemington Bituminous on Pennsylvania Avenue in Raritan Township, raced horses and served on the Youth Center board.
Also to be recognized at the 3 p.m. event will be Eagle Scout Nick Bussell. He’ll be thanked by the Troop 200 scoutmaster for his Eagle project, which included clearing the pond, building benches, setting up the dock and installing the posts for the sign.
Nick never had an official Eagle Court of Honor for his Eagle award; this will be done in a “mini-ceremony” right after the dedication of the sign.
Refreshments will be served after the ceremony.
