FLEMINGTON, NJ - The Flemington-Raritan Regional School District will be closed as of March 16, with virtual learning beginning March 17 and lasting through March 29.

According to communication from the district, school will be closed for students March 16, with a professional development day to be held for staff and faculty. The school buildings will be open from 9 a.m. to noon for parents to pick up personal belongings from school, retrieve any learning materials that were left behind, pick up medicine from the nurses' office and receive assistance needed during the transition.

Virtual learning will begin March 17, and all schools will be closed to the public.

In addition, on March 14 and 15, all after school, evening and weekend activities will be either canceled or postponed. All facility events and rental activities will be canceled, rescheduled or postponed, and athletic practices and competitions have also been canceled until further notice.

The schools will remain closed through March 29, and students are currently scheduled to return March 30. If the district is not ready to re-open at that time, the schools will stay closed through spring break.
