FLEMINGTON, NJ – A man from Randolph has been indicted by a Hunterdon Grand Jury on four counts, including one for the first-degree murder of his grandfather.
The indictments were announced by Acting Hunterdon County Prosecutor Michael Williams in a press release this afternoon.
Justin A. Love, 19, was arrested June 3 after State Troopers based in Perryville were dispatched to Bethlehem Township on the report of an assault in progress. Love was arrested after a brief struggle, Williams said, and while in transit to Hunterdon Medical Center, 86-year-old Roger R. Love died as a result of his injuries.
In addition to the murder indictment, Love was also indicted on one count of second-degree aggravated assault, one count of fourth-degree aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, and one count of third-degree resisting arrest.
