HOLMDEL, NJ -- Hunterdon Central ran out to a nine-point lead after one quarter on its way to a 64-49 boys basketball victory over St. John Vianney on Tuesday.

Brian Johansson scored 20 points for the Red Devils (17-8), whose nine-point lead shrunk to two by halftime. Hunterdon Central then outscored Vianney, 19-13, in the third quarter.

Matt Ciszkowski finished with 16 points for Hunterdon Central, which has a 10-game winning streak going into the Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex Tournament championship game against Hackettstown at Centenary University Friday night.
