ANNANDALE, NJ — The North Hunterdon football team scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter to break a tie and go on to a 28-21 victory over Hunterdon Central Friday night.

Trailing, 14-7, at the half, Hunterdon Central scored two third-quarter TDs to forge a 21-21 deadlock going into the final quarter.

Frankie Lentine connected with Owen Bill on a 22-yard TD pass in the first quarter for the Red Devils (0-2) and Jeff Bekiarian kicked the PAT. Lentine and Owen combined on a 47-yard TD aerial in the third quarter. Bruce Washington scored on a 2-yard TD in the third quarter for Hunterdon Central.

Washington finished with 111 yards on 21 carries. Lentine completed 12 of 19 passes for 175 yards. Bill had five receptions for 101 yards.
