Auditions for Avenue Q at Villagers Theatre

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ - Villagers Theatre announces auditions for our upcoming production of Avenue Q.

Sept. 11th- 7:00-10:00 & Sept. 13th- 7:00-10:00

Callbacks Saturday, Sept. 16 - 12:00-4:00 pm by invitation only.

Please, 32 bars of any song fit for the show, but NOT from the show. 18 and over please! Must audition with a puppet no matter what part you are auditioning for. Puppets will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own. Please bring sheet music. An accompanist will be provided.

There will not be a dance audition, but be prepared to have callbacks with puppets! 

Performance dates: Nov. 3, 4, 5, 10,11,12, 18,19

Avenue Q was the winner of the 2004 Tony awards for Best Musical, Best Book, and Best Original Score. It is a musical focusing on a group of unique 20-somethings making their way in the big city, seeking their purpose in life, who find themselves living on humble Avenue Q.

Princeton

A fresh-faced kid just out of college and the protagonist. Puppet.

A Kindergarten teaching assistant, who is a bit older than Princeton. Puppet.

Bridgewater Police: Avoid Mall for Ongoing Police Investigation

UPDATE: According to a Nixle alert from the Bridgewater Township Police Department at 9 p.m., the investigation at the mall has been completed, and the mall will be resuming normal business operations.

Police emphasized that there is no immediate threat to the public and no injuries were reported.
