FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ - The Franklin Warriors could not hold on to their late-inning lead and fell to Piscataway 7-6 on the road.

Jeff Perez pitched three and a third innings and gave up two hits, three earned runs, walked four and struck out four. 

"Kids fought hard all game we let this slip away from us towards the end of the game," Head Coach Nicholas Zucchero said.

The Warriors got off to a fast start scoring four runs in the first inning. Piscataway's Drew Patel scored on a wild pitc in the bottom of the sixth inning to win the game. 

Warrior Aj Gordon led the Warriors in hitting with two runs batted in. He went 2-for-4 on the day. Warrior lead-off Brian DiNicola and Garret Callaghan both scored two runs.

The Warriors will be back home today to take on Bridgewater at 3:45 p.m.
