FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ - Central Jersey College Prep Charter School will be holding a lottery for the 2017-2018 school year Tuesday night at 6 p.m. at the school in the Somerset section of Franklin Township. 

The event is open to the public, and parents with applications are encouraged to attend. 

Due to the expansion approval granted by the New Jersey Department of Education last week, the school will be accepting more students than last year.

According to their website, the lottery results will be published on and all winners and wait-listed applicants will be notified via email (to the email address provided to us on the application) immediately following the lottery.

Applicants who are not selected to enroll through the lottery will be automatically placed on the waiting list in the order determined by lottery.

Central Jersey College Prep Charter School will fill available spaces through a random lottery with numbers indicated below:

Kindergarten: 72 students

Grade 1: 24 students 

Grade 2: 24 students

Grade 6: 72 students 

At this time they do not have space in other grades.
