The Central Jersey Housing Resource Center (CJHRC) will offer a financial literacy program on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm. This FREE program will be held at the Bridgewater Municipal Building located at 100 Commons Way, Bridgewater New Jersey.

This workshop is very interactive and will allow all participants to walk away with important information they want and need.  The topics of Budgeting and Tracking of Expenses, Ways to Obtain Savings, Getting a Copy of Your Credit Report and How to Read It, Understanding What Makes Up A Credit Score, How to Obtain a FREE Credit Score, Basic Credit Strategies if You Have Errors on Your Report or Need to Clarify Items and more!

Each participant will be able to get a free copy of a tri-merged report within 3 business days ($20 value) which will also give them their credit score from all three credit reporting agencies and a $10 gift card for every participant who pre-registers, completes release/forms and evaluation!

Executive Director Sharon Clark states, “A key to being able to make ends meet is knowing where your money is going every month and learning about debt to income ratios.  This program provides information in order to practice good money management and possibly be motivated to change some habits.”
