They are Franklin's Finest and will be available for a sip and chat on National Coffee with a Cop Day, Wednesday, Oct. 2 at multiple locations during the morning, afternoon, and evening hours. 

"This is a great opportunity to meet and ask questions of your local police department," FTPD Sgt. Sean Hebbon said in a social media post. "We look forward to seeing you there."

National Coffee With a Cop Day an event created in 2011 by members of the Hawthorne Police Department will be observed in communities throughout America. 

The event is designed to provide cops and the community a chance to meet in a casual setting to communicate ideas, concerns, and to develop relationships.

Franklin will be unique to other towns because it will have multiple active locations to ensure optimum engagement with the public.

PJ's Pancake House at 4581 Route 27 Kingston will be hosting the event from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Moe's Southwest Grill at 120 Cedar Grove Lane will be hosting the event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Confectionately Yours at 3391 Route 27 will be hosting the event from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
