FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ - No joking, you can have a beer and listen to music in a greenhouse this April's Fool's Day!
The Franklin Food Bank will host their third annual BeerFest this April Fool's Day at noon, in the greenhouse at the historic Suydam Farms in the Somerset section of Franklin Township.
Stop & Shop is sponsoring Beerfest and Scarlet Knight Liquors is providing the beer, and this year is extra special because they will also provide wine for the non-beer drinkers.
Attendees will have an opportunity to see live music to start the afternoon. Iguana Music & Sound will provide the sound and booked the following performers: Screamin’ Rebel Angels, Crash Gordon and Debra Dynamite, and Kevin Hill.
The most important part of BeerFest is, of course, the beer. This year craft beers from Shore Point Distributors, Highgrade Beverages, and Warren Distributors. Hunterdon Beverages is donating beer as well.
